American Stock Exchange Lists TIERS Linked To S&P 500 Index

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) today begins trading TIERS Principal-Protected Trust Certificates, which offer the potential to capture gains linked to the composite price performance of the S&P 500 Index. The TIERS will be trading under the ticker symbol SNJ. 19 million shares of the new five-year securities were issued at 100% of the principal amount ($10 each) and will not bear any interest.

TSX Group Inc. Closes Offering Of 2,846,736 Common Shares At $18.00 Per Share Pursuant To The Exercise Of The Over-Allotment Option By The Underwriting Syndicate

TSX Group Inc. (TSX: X) and TSX Inc. announced today that they have completed the closing of the offering of 2,846,736 common shares of TSX Group Inc. at the initial public offering price of $18.00 per share. These shares were issued upon exercise in full of the over-allotment option previously granted by TSX Group Inc. to its underwriters, which exercise was announced on November 13, 2002.

SET: Listed Companies Announce Profits In The First 9 Months Of More Than 100 Billion Baht

More than 79% of listed companies have announced their earnings for the first nine months of 2002 and net profits amounted to 147.935 billion baht. Twenty-five industrial sectors recorded profits, which totaled seventy-one percent of net profits of the industrial and service sectors.
