The international derivatives market Eurex is to launch options on both MDAX-listed Continental AG and Deutsche Börse AG as well as on Porsche AG as of June 24. The world's largest derivatives market announced plans to expand its stock option segment in a press release on Thursday. CME's GLOBEX® Marks One Million Milestone

Less than two weeks before its 10th anniversary on June 25, the GLOBEX® electronic trading platform of Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) exceeded one million contracts traded for the first time in a single day yesterday, June 12. The 1,028,191 contracts traded represented a 9 percent increase from the previous daily record of 943,953 contracts set on June 4.

CME Announces July 14 Start Of Electronic Spread Trading For Eurodollars On GLOBEX®

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) today announced that at 5:30 p.m. Central time on Sunday, July 14 (trade date July 15), it will implement its "Eagle Project" release, the most advanced technology to date on its GLOBEX® electronic trading platform. The Eagle facility will make it possible for the first time to trade calendar spreads electronically on GLOBEX, providing functionality that previously was available only through open outcry execution.

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index change effective after the close of business on Thursday, June 13, 2002: The relative weight of The Thomson Corporation (TSX: TOC) will increase by approximately 0.23% in the S&P/TSX Composite and S&P/TSX Capped Composite, 0.30% in the S&P/TSX 60 and S&P/TSX 60 Capped, 2.39% in the S&P/TSX Consumer Discretionary and 0.26% in the TSX 100 Indices.
