The Warsaw Stock Exchange Launches Its Own Index Calculation Module INDEXATOR

On June 13, 2003, the Warsaw Stock Exchange launched its new index calculation module INDEXATOR. This new index module allows for more frequent publication of indices, introduction of new indicators and improved data dissemination. The application is Exchange's own product, as the software was developed in-house by WSE specialists.
Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, June 16, 2003: Tyner Resources Ltd. (TSXVN:TIP) will trade under the ticker symbol "TIP.T." The name and the CUSIP number of the company will not change and there is no change to the capital structure. The company will be designated as an inactive issuer.
Singapore Exchange: Asia Converge To Cease Operations On 30 September

Singapore Exchange (SGX) today announced that Asia Converge Pte Ltd, its joint venture with DBS Vickers Securities and OCBC Securities, will cease operations on 30 September 2003. The Company provides outsourcing services for brokers' back office operations. The closure of Asia Converge will not have a significant financial impact on SGX.

The appointment of Dato' Noorazman Abdul Aziz as Chief Operating Officer of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) has been announced by the Ministry of Finance. The appointment will take effect from Tuesday, 1 July 2003.

Turnover The turnover on all market segments of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) totalled SIT 18.6 billion in May 2003, which was 11.8% less than the previous month and SIT 21.4 billion less than the previous year's monthly average. Compared to May 2002, the monthly turnover decreased by half (SIT -17.3 billion).
