Euronext: Bouygues Offshore Removed From Next 150 Index

New composition of Next 150 Following the official result of the takeover bid by the Italian company Saipem Spa for the French company Bouygues Offshore (Next 150), Bouygues Offshore will be removed from the Next 150 index effective Monday 16 September 2002. Following the rules of the Next 150 the removed company will not be replaced immediately, but at the next quarterly review (1 October 2002). As of Monday 16 September 2002, the Next 150 index will consist of 148 companie

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. and Standard & Poor' s will make the following changes in the S&P/TOPIX 150. Kinki Nippon Railway (9041) will be added to the S&P/TOPIX 150 replacing Matsushita Communication Industrial (6781) after the close of trading on Tuesday, September 24, 2002.

SEC Approves Extension of NQDS Non-Pro Fee Pilot

On September 9, 2002, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved a one-year extension to the NASDAQ® non-professional fee pilot program for NASDAQ Quotation Dissemination ServiceSM (NQDSSM). For distributors currently participating in the NQDS pilot program, the reduced fee will be automatically reflected in the NASDAQ invoice for September 2002.

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that it will hold a special bell-ringing ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 11 starting at 10:40 a.m. to commemorate the tragic events one year ago. The opening of trade has been delayed until 11:00 a.m. in conjunction with other national exchanges.
