    Deutsche Börse announced on Wednesday, that the current CEO of Clearstream International André Roelants will become the company's Chairman. In an expanded role, Roelants will focus on client development, strategic marketing, and financial industry relationships and developments. According to Deutsche Börse, the process to select a new CEO has been initiated and should be completed by the third quarter 2004.

  • Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Canola Prices Near 52-Week Highs

    Canola futures at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange closed out the month of February trading near their 52-week highs. The March 2004 contract settling at $411.50 per metric tonne on February 27, 2004, with the contract high of $415.00 being set only two days earlier on February 25. Futures prices spiked upward in February on very heavy trading volume after staying in a relatively tight $20.00 per tonne trading range since November 2003. One of the reasons for the rally in canola prices is the str
