    Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) and Nihon Keizai Shimbun (NKS) today announced that they have reached an agreement, giving SGX the option to trade the Nikkei Futures and Options on its Electronic Trading System (SGX ETS) from 7 am to 7 pm Singapore time.

    Richard Ketchum, the President and Deputy Chairman of The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. ("NASDAQ"; OTCBB: NDAQ), has informed NASDAQ's Board of Directors of his decision to leave the company effective June 17, 2003. Mr. Ketchum has accepted the position of General Counsel with Citigroup's Global Corporate & Investment Bank. As a result of his decision, Mr. Ketchum relinquished his seat on NASDAQ's Board of Directors effective immediately.

  • CME To Launch Seasonal Weather Contracts On May 26

    Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) today announced that it will list six additional weather futures and options contracts beginning on Monday, May 26, at 5:30 p.m. (Central time). CME's new seasonal degree day index futures and options will offer coverage in the November-March heating season and the May-September cooling season. Initially, futures based on the degree day indexes for Chicago, Cincinnati and New York will be listed for trading.

(NYSE: CME) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share, payable on June 25, 2003 to Class A and Class B shareholders of record on June 10, 2003. At April 30, 2003, the company had approximately 32.6 million Class A shares and 3,138 Class B shares of common stock.
