  • Despite The Worldwide Dampening On The Stock Markets The Copenhagen Stock Exchange Restates Its Outlook From The Second Quarter

    In spite of the worldwide dampening on the stock markets the Copenhagen Stock Exchange restates it outlook for the full year at DKK 60 - 70 million, which was published in the semi-annual report. Consolidated profit after tax amounted to DKK 52.2 million up from DKK 50.3 million for the first nine months of 2001, corresponding to a 4 per cent rise.

  • CFTC Issues Web-Based Guidance On Security Futures

    The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has added to its cftc.gov website (www.cftc.gov) a number of web pages to assist market participants and others interested in single-stock futures and futures on narrow stock indices (called security futures under the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000). Security futures are jointly regulated by the CFTC and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

  • CBOE Announces Veterans Day Trading Schedule

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that on Friday, November 8, CBOE interest rate products will close at 12:00 Noon CST and will be closed on Monday, November 11. The CBOE trading floor will observe two minutes of silence on Monday, November 11 from 10:00 to 10:02 a.m. CST in observance of Veterans Day. Regular trading hours will otherwise be in effect on November 11.
