CBOT Sets Another New Open Interest Record

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) announced that the exchange set another all-new total exchange open interest record yesterday. The new record at 9,203,130 contracts surpasses the previous highs at 8,942,645 set on July 21, 2003, and 8,838,291 on July 17, 2003.

Baltic Exchange Appoints Chief Executive's Successor - Jeremy Penn

Peter Kerr-Dineen, Chairman of the Baltic Exchange, announced today that the Board was appointing Jeremy Penn, formerly with Reuters, as Chief Executive of the Exchange, to succeed Jim Buckley in the spring of 2004.

ASX To Move Into Wool Futures Contracts

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, July 22, 2003: Desert Sun Mining Corp. (TSXVN:DSM) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. The company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange as a result of its graduation to the TSX, where it will trade under the ticker "DSM."
