Quarterly Rebalancing for S&P/HKEx GEM Index

Standard & Poor's, as part of the quarterly rebalancing, will will make the following constituent changes and update the shares outstanding for the S&P/HKEx GEM Index. In addition some Investible Weight Factors for constituents in the S&P/HKEx GEM Index will be updated effective after the close of business Friday, October 15, 2004.

FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index Selected By Barclays Global Investors

The FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index has been selected by Barclays Global Investors (BGI) as the underlying benchmark for the first China-only ETF for US investors. The index, part of the FTSE/Xinhua Index Series, is a product of FTSE/Xinhua Index Limited (FXI), a joint venture between FTSE Group and Xinhua Finance.
