  • STOXX Ltd. Launches Indexes For New EU Member Countries

    STOXX Ltd., the leading European index provider, today launched two indexes that measure the performance of the 10 new member states that joined the European Union in May 2004. They are: the Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Total Market Index (TMI), a broad benchmark index, and the Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged 15, a blue-chip index. Both indexes cover companies headquartered in the 10 new EU member states.

    The Commission announced today the appointments of Helene Glotzer, David Rosenfeld and Andrew M. Calamari as Associate Regional Directors in New York with responsibility to oversee and manage the Commission’s enforcement program in the Northeast Regional Office. These appointments fill vacancies created in June 2004 by the departure of Barry W. Rashkover for private practice and the promotion of Mark K. Schonfeld to the position of Director of the Northeast Regional Office.
