Instinet Group Announces Sale Of Certain Assets And Release Of Obligations With Zone Trading Partners

Instinet Group Incorporated (NASDAQ: INGP) today announced that it sold to Zone Trading Partners the Gr8Trade and Infocenter technology, and agreed to the mutual release by Instinet Group, Zone and affiliated parties of obligations resulting from Instinet's acquisition of ProTrader in October 2001. As a result of this transaction, Instinet realized proceeds of $7.75 million. Instinet's Gr8Trade technology team will move to Zone after the Gr8Trade transition is completed in the fall of this year.

i2 Technologies, Inc. Settles Fraud Charges Involving Misstatement Of Approximately $1 Billion In Revenues; Company Will Pay $10 Million To Injured Investors

The Securities and Exchange Commission today brought enforcement proceedings against i2 Technologies, Inc. for misstating approximately $1 billion of software license revenues, including over $125 million of revenues it should never have recognized, over a nearly five-year period that ended in 2002. Futures & Options On RTS Stock Exchange Trading Volume Breaks The All-Time Record

On June 8th, 2004, daily trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on RTS) reached the all-time record of 2,35 billion rubles, 70% higher than an average daily trading volume in May. The most popular were “RAO UES of Russia” and “Gazprom” single stock futures contracts.

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Rescinds Extended June 10 Floor Trading Session For Interest Rate, FX Products; Delayed Release Of Government PPI Eliminates Need For Extended Floor Trading Session

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) today announced that it is dropping plans for an extended Thursday, June 10 open outcry (pit) trading session for interest rate and foreign exchange (FX) products due to the U.S. government’s plans to defer indefinitely the release of the Producer Price Index (PPI) data for May. These open outcry sessions will now end at their usual time of 2:00 p.m. Central time (3:00 p.m. Eastern time).
