  • FishEx Chooses Cinetics Trading System For The World’s First Financial Marketplace For Fish

    In November FishEx announced its plans to start the first financial marketplace for the trading of futures contracts on fish. FishEx recently signed an agreement with a well-known clearing house to clear products listed on FishEx products. Now the next step has been taken towards establishing the marketplace for trading fish futures; FishEx has agreed a contract with Cinetics to create an Internet based system tailor-made for fish futures trading.

  • First ETF Based On Fundamental Factors Selects FTSE RAFI Index

    FTSE Group (“FTSE”) announced today that the FTSE RAFI 1000 Index has been selected by PowerShares Capital Management, as the underlying index for the first fundamental factor-based ETF for US investors. The ETF, PowerShares FTSE RAFI US 1000 Portfolio, launches today and will trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:PRF).

  • CBOT Pilot Program - Algorithm In 2 Year Treasury Futures

    The CBOT Board of Directors has approved on a pilot basis a modification to the current algorithm in outright Two-Year U.S. Treasury Note futures to Priority Pro-Rata with minimum volume and maximum volume cap requirements from the current Price/Time algorithm.
