The Korea Futures Exchange (KOFEX), the largest world futures exchange, posted total 2004 annual volume of 2,586,818,602 contracts. KOFEX average daily volume in 2004 was 10,388,677 contracts, down 11.9 percent from 11,792,881 contracts in 2003.

John Anderson Joins Securities Industry Association As Vice President And Director, Legislative Affairs

The Securities Industry Association today announced the appointment of John Anderson as vice president and director, legislative affairs. Anderson, 29, comes to SIA from the International Swaps and Derivatives Association where he served as policy director and head of government affairs. He was instrumental in establishing ISDA’s government advocacy office in Washington, D.C.
