Banco Santander de Negócios Portugal (BSN Portugal) has chosen FTSEurofirst 80 as the basis for its first certificate on a euro zone index. It becomes the first financial institution to list a FTSEurofirst product in Portugal. The FTSEurofirst 80 certificate, which matures on 16 January 2009, is listed on Euronext Lisbon.

Designed to provide investment results that correspond generally to the performance of the underlying specialty indexes as defined by the Industry Classification System (ICB), the iShares Dow Jones Subsector index funds are free-float adjusted market capitalization-weighted indexes.
