HKEx Welcomes Government Appointment Of Keith Lui To Its Risk Management Committee

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) welcomes the Government's appointment of Keith Lui to succeed Martin Wheatley as a member of HKEx's Risk Management Committee (RMC). Mr Lui's term will run from 28 August 2006 to 27 August 2009.

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) today fined London based clearing firm, The Kyte Group Limited, £250,000 for systems and controls failings resulting in inadequate client money protection and poor accounting systems.

TSX Group – Labour Day Closures

Both Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange will be closed for Labour Day on Monday, September 4th, 2006. Both exchanges will re-open for business on Tuesday, September 5th.
