    Total share trading in November on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange reached an all time high of EUR 14.4 billion, corresponding to a daily average of EUR 654 million. The covered warrant trading in November on the Helsinki Stock Exchange reached an all time high of EUR 114.0 million, corresponding to a daily average of EUR 5.2 million.

  • NYSE Arbitration Receives SEC Approval To Provide Public Investors And Non-Members Choice Of Arbitrator Selection Method

    Brokerage-firm customers participating in NYSE Regulation dispute-resolution proceedings now can elect to have arbitrators chosen through a  random, computerized selection process under NYSE rules recently approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The changes to NYSE Rule 607 were approved by the SEC on November 22, 2005. The change is effective as of that date.

  • NYBOT's World Sugar Market Hits Historic Milestone, Topping A Half Million Contracts In Open Interest

    Open interest in the New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) World Sugar No. 11sm futures contract raced past the half million mark this week, reaching an all-time open interest high on November 29 of 500,572 contracts. The previous day, also a new record, had nudged close to a half million (496,979 contracts), shattering the record high set on August 8, 2005, of 494,703.
