ICE Futures Announces Revisions To Gas Oil Futures Contract Specifications

ICE Futures, the regulated futures subsidiary of IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), announced contract revisions for the ICE Futures Gas Oil Futures Contract (ICE Gas Oil futures). The contract amendment is the result of European Union regulations to reduce sulphur content in gas oil and will be in effect immediately for the January 2008 contract and all subsequent contract months. Copenhagen Stock Exchange Selects New Midcap+ And Smallcap+ Portfolios

The Copenhagen Stock Exchange has just selected the shares to be included in the future MidCap+ and SmallCap+ portfolios, which will be effective from July 1, 2006 until October 1, 2006. Compared with today’s portfolios, two companies have qualified for the plus segments, which will then comprise 65 companies. D/S Torm is new in MidCap+ and BoConcept Holding B is new in SmallCap+.

In advance of next week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on June 29, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.
