Euronext: Expert Commission Decided To Temporarily Remove ARCELOR From CAC 40 And SBF 120 Indices

In view of the outstanding public offer for ARCELOR shares and established practice in such circumstances, the Expert Commission (Indices Committee) has decided to remove temporarily ARCELOR as a component stock of the CAC 40 and SBF 120 indices at the close of trading on 16 June, 2006.

EBOS And Ryman Moving Up In The NZX Indices

EBOS Group Limited (EBOS) is to be added to the NZX 50 Index, and Ryman Healthcare Limited (Ryman) will be added to the NZX 15 Index, effective 21 June 2006, NZX has announced today. EBOS and Ryman will be filling the spaces in the NZX Equity Indices after the amalgamation of Waste Management NZ Limited and Transpacific Industries Group Limited.

Taking effect on 19 June, new weights will apply for companies in the equity indices of Deutsche Börse. Deutsche Börse released the preliminary weighting figures on Wednesday. The preliminary data can be downloaded from the Deutsche Börse website (www.deutsche-boerse.com). The final figures based on Friday's Xetra closing prices will be published on the Deutsche Börse website on Saturday.

On June 12, 2006, daily futures volume in the U.S. Dollar Index ® (USDX ®) at the New York Board of Trade â (NYBOT â ) hit the highest levels in the twenty-one year history of the Exchange’s exclusive DX market. Trading in the barometer of the U.S. Dollar totaled 28,701 futures contracts, breaking the old daily futures volume record of 27,905 set on December 7, 2005.
