BA-CA A Full Member On The Warsaw Stock Exchange

Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BA-CA) a member of Unicredit Group, has become a full member on the equity and the derivatives market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. A direct line has been set up between the trading floors of BA-CA in Vienna and the Warsaw Stock Exchange, thus enabling Austrian and international clients to efficiently trade in Polish equities. BA-CA activity will begin on the cash market, and soon after will be broadened for derivatives market.

In September trading in equities on the Spanish market through SIBE was 39% up on the same month in 2005. The value of trading on Latibex in September came in at € 51 million, 9% more than in the same month last year and exceeding the annual figure for 2005. The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced the successful launch of its new futures contract based on the Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index (DJ-AIGCISM). The new Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index Excess Return (DJ-AIG ER) futures contract was developed at the request of market participants who sought an exchange-traded instrument that provides diverse, global commodities exposure.

International Securities Exchange Reports Monthly Volume For September 2006

The International Securities Exchange (NYSE:ISE) today reported that average daily trading volume for equity and index options contracts for September 2006 increased 25.3% to 2.4 million contracts as compared to 1.9 million contracts during the same period in 2005. Total equity and index options volume for the month increased 19.3% to 47.3 million contracts from 39.6 million contracts in the same year-ago period.
