NYSE Group, Inc. today announced that it has received approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch its next generation fixed-income trading platform, NYSE Bonds(SM). The newly-developed system utilizes NYSE Arca’s core matching technology to offer investors a transparent and highly efficient bond trading platform for all NYSE listed corporate debt securities.

SEC Conducts Training Program On Investment Company Regulation, Examination And Enforcement In Mumbai, India

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced the completion of its first-ever foreign regulator training program focused primarily on regulating and examining investment companies and investment advisors. The four-day program in Mumbai, India was attended by more than 60 officials from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and securities exchanges and securities depositories in India.

PLUS Markets Group plc (or “the Company”) reports its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2006. Highlights Turnover at £2.17 million (2005 - £1.45 million) up 49% on the previous year; Loss for the year of £1.33 million (2005 - £1.36 million) with a loss per share of 0.99p (2005 - 1.40p) a decrease of 29%; Over half a million trades, worth a total of nearly £3 billion, representing over 5.75 billion shares, took place on the PLUS market.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) will abolish the Main Board requirement for paid announcements on Monday 25 June this year when it launches the new regime for electronic dissemination of regulatory information (the Electronic Disclosure Project).
