The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 27 August 2007 (Monday), Fosun International Ltd (Stock code: 656) will be admitted to the list of designated securities eligible for short selling.

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 21 August 2007, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining method

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized the company to explore alternatives to divest its approximately 31% stake (61.3 million shares) in the London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSE). NASDAQ has retained J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and UBS Investment Bank to assist in its review of sale alternatives.
