New Member Firm For The Irish Stock Exchange

The Irish Stock Exchange has admitted Danske Bank A/S (“Danske Bank”) as a new trading member firm of the Exchange. Danske Bank’s admission to membership of the Exchange is effective immediately. Its authorisation is to deal on its own account, with other market professionals and on behalf of retail clients on an agency, principal and riskless principal basis.

ICE Futures Sets Second Consecutive Daily Volume Record In WTI Crude Futures With Over 120,000 Contracts Traded

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace, announced that ICE Futures, its futures business segment, achieved a second consecutive daily volume record in its ICE WTI Crude futures contract. On April 12, volume in the ICE WTI Crude futures contract reached 121,027 contracts, surpassing by 20% the April 11 record of 100,787 contracts. Open interest in the WTI contract rose to 159,491. HKFE Announces Revised Margins For MTR Futures

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 18 April 2006, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

CBOT Exchange-Wide Open Interest Exceeds 15.3 Million Contracts - Precious Metals Contracts Also Reach New OI Highs

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) announced today that on Wednesday, April 12, Exchange-wide open interest reached record levels, surpassing 15.3 million contracts. Total Exchange open interest climbed to 15,375,879 contracts and eclipsed the previous record of 15,187,139 set on May 19, 2005.

In its letter of 24 August 2005, Euronext Amsterdam N.V. (“Euronext”) requested the Listing and Issuing Rule Advisory Committee to issue advice on possible violations of Article 28h of the Listing and Issuing Rules (which was then in force) by the issuer N.V. Koninklijke Nederlandsche Petroleum Maatschappij (“Royal Dutch”; now succeeded by Shell Petroleum N.V.) in the period preceding the publication of a press release on 9 January 2004.
