NYMEX To Change Margins For Natural Gas, Related Futures Contracts

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. today announced margin changes for its natural gas; Henry Hub swap, swing swap, and penultimate swap; natural gas penultimate and last day financial; and NYMEX miNYTM natural gas futures contracts, effective at the close of business tomorrow.

In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on June 28, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

As of mid-June, short interest in 2,745 NASDAQ Global Market(sm) securities totaled 8,966,592,245 shares compared with 8,205,105,350 shares in 2,752 Global Market issues for the month of May. The June short interest represents 4.36 days average daily NASDAQ Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 3.94 days in May.

NYBOT To End FINEX® Evening Session In New York

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), announced today that, effective with the start of trading for the business day of July 2, 2007, the Exchange will no longer hold the FINEX evening floor session that has been held each business day from 7PM to 10PM ET. The last session will be held on Thursday, June 28, for Friday, June 29, 2007.
