A certain newspaper today reported that Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE) will establish a market for ETFs based on a gold price or a Chinese stock index. However, there is no decision made at the moment that should be disclosed. OSE will promptly announce when it makes any decision that should be disclosed.

Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange PTA Futures Set Both Volume And Open Interest Records

On January 22, ZCE Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) futures set both trading volume and open interest records since its listing on December 18,2006. The total trading volume reached 64,642 contracts, and the open interest was 30,284 contracts. For the most active TA705, the volume and open interest new high were 60,500 contracts and 23,064 contracts, respectively.
