Cairn Energy Rejoins FTSE 100
FTSE Group, the global index provider, has confirmed today that Cairn Energy will re-enter the FTSE 100 after a six month absence, at close of business on Friday 16th September. The oil & gas exploration and production company first entered the index a year ago. Joining Cairn in the UK blue chip index is the online gaming giant Partygaming, which listed on the London Stock Exchange in June.

August 2005 Performance Review Of The Dow Jones Hedge Fund Strategy Benchmarks - A Monthly Report From Dow Jones Indexes On The Performance Of The Dow Jones Hedge Fund Strategy Benchmarks
For the six hedge fund strategies covered by Dow Jones Hedge Fund Indexes, distressed securities and event driven have been the best performers so far in 2005. The distressed securities benchmark gained 1.36% in August and is up 5.41% for the year while the event driven benchmark is up 0.61% for the month and 5.13% on a YTD basis.

Viermetz To Assume Chair Of Deutsche Börse Supervisory Board Taking Effect As Of The End Of The October 10 Board Meeting - Breuer, Dalman, Jentzsch And Lindenbergh Resign From Their Posts/ List Of Candidates For Supervisory Board And CEO Positions Near Co

Viermetz will assume the chair of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse taking effect as of the end of the Board meeting on October 10 when the current Chairman Dr. Rolf-E Breuer will resign. Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index
Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, September 6, 2005: Jilbey Gold Exploration Ltd. (TSXVN:JLB) will be removed from the index. The company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange as a result of a plan of arrangement whereby the company will be acquired by High River Gold Mines Ltd. (TSX:HRG). North American Gold Inc.
