Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index
Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Friday, September 2, 2005: Galleon Energy Inc. (TSXVN:GO.A) will be removed from the index. The company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange as a result of its graduation to the TSX to trade under the same symbol. The shares of Northwestern Mineral Ventures Inc. (TSXVN:NWT) will be split on a 2-for-1 basis. There is no other change in capitalization. <

Share Trading On Copenhagen Stock Exchange Up 91 Per Cent On 2004
In August, trading in securities listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange continued on a high level. Trading in futures and options reached an all-time high, and the number of contracts traded passed 100,000 for the first time in one month.

Singapore Exchange Limited (“SGX”) today announced that the SGX MSCI Singapore Futures (“SiMSCI”) experienced a record high open interest of 51,721 positions on 29 August 2005, an increase of 5% from the previous record established on 29 February 2005.

SEC: Revised Investor Education Funding Plan Approved

Reprimand Issued By SWX Swiss Exchange Against Kühne + Nagel International AG
The SWX Swiss Exchange has established that Kühne + Nagel International AG was in breach of the interim financial reporting requirements pursuant to Art. 65 of the Listing Rules. The company published in its 2004 semi-annual report the segment results without goodwill amortizations. The SWX Swiss Exchange Disciplinary Commission has therefore issued a reprimand and ordered that this sanction be published.
