Wiener Börse has presented detailed plans to become a potential strategic investor for the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. The presentation was made to a group of selected representatives from the Bulgarian Ministry of Finance, the Bulgarian supervisory authorities, regional banks and financial intermediaries in Sofia yesterday. Borsa Italiana signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of a 90% stake of Servizio Titoli SpA, whose current shareholders are Byte Software House SpA (50.5%), Business Solutions SpA (27.2%), Pirelli SpA (12.4%) and Gemina SpA (9.9%). Fiat Group will mantain a 10% stake in the company.

Trading activity in March 2007 was again at a record level. Total turnover on SWX and virt-x amounted to CHF 252 billion. Eurex To Launch UK Products In May - Eurex To Offer Single Stock Futures On 17 UK stocks

Eurex, the international derivatives exchange, will expand its product portfolio and introduce 17 single stock futures (SSF) – on the Royal Dutch Shell shares and on the 16 sterling denominated components of the Dow Jones STOXX 50 index. The contracts will be available as of 21 May 2007. With this step, Eurex lists for the first time products denominated in British Pounds (GBP). The new futures cover shares of the largest UK companies, among others Barclays, BP, HSBC, Lloyds TSB and Vodafone.
