OneChicago Reports 426% Increase In October Volume, Up 171% YTD
OneChicago, LLC today reported that 586,007 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in October, 426% higher than October 2004 volume. The average daily volume in October was 27,905. Year-to-date volume is up 171%. Open interest stood at 1,126,565 contracts on Oct. 31 after reaching a record 1,463,819 on Oct. 21.

OMX Exchanges Monthly Statistics October 2005
Total share trading on OMX Exchanges in October amounted to EUR 77.8 billion corresponding to an average daily turnover of EUR 3,703 million, thus making October the best individual month in terms of trading since April 2000 (EUR 3,874 million)1. October Was Busiest Month In CBOE History - Numerous Volume Records Set - 2005 Volume Has Already Surpassed 2004's Total
Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that October trading volume at CBOE was nearly 50 million contracts, up 49% over October 2004. Bolstered by six of the eight highest single trading days on record at CBOE, October was the busiest month in its 32-year history. Year-to-date, CBOE's volume of 384.6 million contracts traded has already surpassed 2004's total volume of 361.1 million contracts, which was the all-time annual volume record at CBOE.

NYSE Announces Third-Quarter 2005 Financial Results - Net Income Increased $19.9 Million Over Year-Ago Quarter
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) today reported net income of $22.0 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, compared to $2.1 million in the year-ago quarter and $13.0 million for the second quarter of 2005. These results reflect the restatement of NYSE’s financial earnings dating back to fiscal year 2002 that were announced in the NYSE Group’s Amendment No. 2 S-4 Registration Statement filed with the SEC on October 24, 2005.

NYBOT October 2005 YTD Volume Nearly Tops 2004 Total Yearly Volume
The total volume for the first ten months of 2005 at the New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) of 31,466,124 combined futures and options contracts is just 263,467 contracts shy of the all-time yearly volume record of 31,729,591 combined futures and options contracts traded in all of 2004. Total futures trading of 24,219,766 contracts through October of 2005 has already shattered the historic annual mark of 23,955,212 set in 2004.

NYBOT Announces New FCOJ Futures Contract Daily Price Limit
The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that effective with the start of trading on November 2, 2005, the Exchange is implementing an amendment to its FCOJ Rules which provides that the 10¢ daily price limit shall apply to the Current Month and the Next Current Month on all business days.
