BOX Sets New Record In Total Monthly “Saving To Investors” With $5.9 Million For May, Average Daily Contract Trading Volume Up 62% Over Previous Year

Average daily trading volume on the Boston Options Exchange (“BOX”) in May 2006 was 444,562 contracts, a 7% increase over the previous month and a 62% increase over the same month in the previous year. World’s First MSCI India Exchange Traded Fund To Be Listed In Singapore

Barclays Global Investors (BGI) and Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) today announced that the iShares MSCI India will be listed on SGX on Thursday, 15 June 2006. This Fund is the world’s first ETF outside of India to offer investors a convenient and cost-effective way to access the Indian equities market.

WCE Monthly Volume Doubles From A Year Ago

Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. ("WCE") total volume of trade during May 2006 was twice the amount of the volume recorded a year ago, according to statistics released today. Total trade in futures and options contracts on WCE during May 2006 was 245,418 contracts which is 99.7% higher than the level recorded in May 2005. This is the twelfth consecutive month of increased trade on WCE when compared to the same month of the previous year.

From 5.00pm on Thursday 8 June 2006 (Trade Date 9 June 2006) half basis point trading will be permitted in the 3 Year Treasury Bond Futures contract in the lead up to the June expiry. During this time half basis point trading will be permitted in the spot and next month 3 Year Bond Futures contracts as well through intra- and inter-commodity spreads and in permitted strategies in the Custom Market.
