Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, August 15, 2007: Signet Minerals Inc. (TSXVN:SGN) will be removed from the index. The company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange following a plan of arrangement involving Cash Minerals Ltd. (TSXVN:CHX) and Troymet Exploration Corp.

TSX Inc. Secures Exclusive S&P/TSX Equity Index License For DEX<SUP>™</SUP> - Derivatives Canada

TSX Group today announced that TSX Inc. has signed an agreement with Standard & Poor’s to secure exclusive use of S&P/TSX equity indices in connection with options, futures and options on futures, beginning in 2009. TSX intends to use the license to permit DEX to create derivative products based on the indices.
