Deutsche Börse: Scenario Calculation For The Equity Indices - Changes In The Equity Indices Effective On 18 December

Effective 18 December, new index weights will apply for companies in the equity indices of Deutsche Börse. Deutsche Börse released the preliminary weighting figures on Wednesday. An update of the prelimary weighting will be published on Friday. The preliminary data can be downloaded from the Deutsche Börse website (www.deutsche-boerse.com). The final figures based on Friday’s Xetra closing prices will be published on the Deutsche Börse website on Saturday.

Component Change Made To Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index

Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced Republic Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: RBNC) will be deleted from the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index and replaced by New York Times Co. Class A (NYSE: NYT).

CBOT: Statement On CBOE SEC Filing To Terminate CBOT Member Rights

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) made a filing with the SEC today seeking to terminate the right of full members of the Board of Trade of the City of Chicago (CBOT) to become members of the CBOE pursuant to an Exercise Right granted to CBOT full members under the CBOE’s charter. CBOT Fed Watch - December 11 Market Close

In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on December 12, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

Canadian Wheat Board To Use Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Western Barley Contract

Last week the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) announced the introduction of Fixed Price Contracts and Basis Contracts for barley producers based on the revised western barley futures contract listed by Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. (WCE). WCE revised its western barley futures contract in July 2006 to make it more responsive to the domestic market for barley on the prairies and make it more reflective of the international market for barley.

NYSE Group To Acquire TransactTools, Leader In Enterprise Messaging Solutions For Securities Trading

NYSE Group, Inc. (NYSE: NYX) today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire TransactTools Inc., the global leader in enterprise messaging solutions for the securities trading industry. The transaction is expected to close in early January 2007. Financial terms were not disclosed.
