Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, December 6, 2006: InterRent International Properties Inc. (TSXVN:IIP) will continue to trade under the new name "InterRent Real Estate Investment Trust", new ticker symbol "IIP.UN" and the new CUSIP number 46071W 10 6. The shares will also be consolidated on the basis of 1 new trust unit for every ten common shares.

OneChicago, LLC reported that 790,076 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in November, a 12.4% increase from November 2005 volume. Average daily volume (ADV) in November was 37,623 contracts.

NASD Board Of Governors Overwhelmingly Approves By-Law Changes Necessary For Consolidation With NYSE Regulation - By-Law Changes Now Go To NASD Member Firms For Approval - Board Also Broadens Composition, Selection Of Small Firm Advisory Board Members

NASD today announced that its Board of Governors overwhelmingly approved by-law amendments that would implement governance changes to enable the recently announced consolidation of the member regulation units of NASD and NYSE Regulation into a new, independent self-regulatory organization (SRO). The by-law amendments will be voted on by the full membership of NASD before taking effect.

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) today announced its new management team, which will report directly to the co-CEOs, Marc Lackritz and Micah Green. The seven departments reflect an organization that is flatter and broader than either legacy trade association before the merger of the Bond Market Association and the Securities Industry Association.
