Further to our previous announcements and due to continuous sanctions taken by the TASE's employees, there is a concern that as well as yesterday, today, Thursday, 20th March 2008, it will be impossible to conduct trading in accordance with the ordinary timetable.
RTS FORTS: The Trading Volume Of Futures On Gold Reached 45 397 Contracts

During the trading session of March 18th, 2008 a record trading volume of futures on gold was registered on FORTS, derivatives section of RTS. By the end of the trading day the trading volume amounted to 45 397 contracts or 1,095 bln. rubles. There was also set a record in the number of trades – 1278.

The Board of Directors of NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NMX), the parent company of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX), has set May 20, 2008, as the date for the company's annual meeting of stockholders. The meeting will be held at its New York headquarters at One North End Avenue, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. The directors also have set March 24, 2008, as the record date for determination of stockholders entitled to vote at the annual meeting either in person or by proxy.
