IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace and soft commodity exchange, today reported substantial growth in volume and commissions during the month of May 2007 compared to May 2006. Average daily volume (ADV) for ICE Futures, ICE’s U.K. regulated futures subsidiary, was 540,304 contracts, an increase of 59.5% over ADV in May 2006. ADV at the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT), ICE’s U.S. regulated futures subsidiary, was 195,639 contracts in May 2007, up 22.7%

SGX Appoints New Senior Executive Vice President

Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) today announced the appointment of Mr Muthukrishnan Ramaswami, 49, as Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) with effect from 1 July 2007. This follows the recent appointment of Mr Chew Sutat as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Head of Development. With these appointments, the Senior Management Team has been further strengthened with a total of three SEVPs and seven EVPs.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For CNOOC Futures Contract

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 5 June 2007, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

Bahraini Dinar Eligible For Settlement In Clearstream - Six New Denomination Currencies Accepted

Clearstream has become the first International Central Security Depositary (ICSD) to accept the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) as eligible for settlement as of Monday 28th May. Additionally six new currencies, the Qatari Rial, the Guatemalan Quetzal, the Dominican Peso, the Vietnamese Dong, the Sri Lanka Rupee and the Mongolian Tugrik have been accepted by Clearstream as denomination currencies.

Update On B Share Scheme For Membership Of The London Metal Exchange

All Ring Dealing Members, Associate Broker Clearing Members, Associate Trade Clearing Members and Associate Broker Members of the London Metal Exchange (“the Exchange”) are required to hold a minimum number of B Shares in LME Holdings Limited (“Holdings”) as a condition of membership. B Shares do not carry any voting rights in Holdings nor do they have any entitlement to receive dividends or any other distributions whether on a winding up or otherwise.

Warsaw Stock Exchange: Decreasing Concentration Of Trading As A Result Of Dynamic Growth Of The Number Of Listed Companies

The number of WSE listed companies has grown by more than 23 percent over the past 12 months, from 240 in April 2006 to 296 at the end of April 2007. This represents the highest growth among all European members of the World Federation of Exchanges. The concentration of trading on the WSE has decreased thanks to the growing number of listed companies.

SWX Management Transactions: Investigation Opened Against Syngenta AG

The SWX Swiss Exchange has instituted an investigation against Syngenta AG on the grounds of a possible breach of Art. 74a of the Listing Rules (disclosure of management transactions). Investigatory proceedings will continue for an indefinite period. The SWX will announce its findings, although no information will be provided while the proceedings are ongoing.
