On March 16, 2009, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC or Commission) approved final rules and rule amendments that increase the Commission’s oversight of exempt commercial markets (ECMs). On 23 March, Deutsche Börse AG ratified plans to implement a holding structure for the Clearstream Subgroup with the objective to further enhance the Group's strong credit profile.
