Osaka Securities Exchange Signs MOU With Taiwan Stock Exchange
Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE) and Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TSEC) announce that TSEC and OSE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The objective of this MOU is to facilitate the development of the securities market both in Taiwan and Japan by improving cooperation in PR activities in each market and promoting information exchange.

CBOE Stock Exchange (CBSX) To Launch On Monday, March 5, 2007; Congressman Rahm Emanuel To Ring Opening Bell
The CBOE Stock Exchange, LLC, a subsidiary of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), will open for trading on Monday, March 5, 2007. CBOE partnered with four leading liquidity providing firms: Interactive Brokers Group, LLC; LaBranche & Co Inc.; Susquehanna International Group, LLP; and VDM Specialists, LLC to create the CBOE Stock Exchange (CBSX), the newest U.S. stock market. Congressman Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) will ring the opening bell to commemorate the occasion.

Standard & Poor’s Announces Change To U.S. Index
Superior Energy Services Inc. (NYSE:SPN) will replace Mercantile Bankshares Corp. (NASD:MRBK) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on a date to be announced. CBOE February Volume Increases 35% To 61.3 Million - Exchange Experiences Busiest Trading Day In Its History On February 27, CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) Sees Biggest One-Day Spike Since 1989
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that February volume totaled 61.3 million contracts, an increase of 35% over February 2006's volume of 45.4 million contracts. Average daily volume for the month was 3.2 million contracts.On Tuesday, February 27, CBOE experienced the busiest day in its history as 6,722,060 contracts traded, topping the previous high of 5,816,336 contracts on May 19, 2006 by nearly one million contracts.

CBOT Holdings, Inc. (“CBOT”) today announced that it has filed a brief in support of its motion for partial summary judgment in the Delaware Chancery Court against the Chicago Board Options Exchange (“CBOE”) and its Board. The CBOT also announced today that it filed a comment letter with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) opposing the CBOE’s proposed rule change regarding the Exercise Right.
