Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: After the close of trading on Friday, February 7, 2003, the trading symbol for Temex Resources Corp. will change from "YTM" to "TME." There is no change in the name of the company or the CUSIP number and there is no consolidation of capital. After the close of trading on Friday, February 7, 2003, Foothills Oil & Gas Ltd. Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index change effective after the close of business on Monday, February 10, 2003: The relative weight of Shiningbank Energy Income Fund (TSX: SHN.UN) will increase by approximately 0.18% in the S&P/TSX Canadian Income Trust Index and by approximately 0.45% in the S&P/TSX Canadian Energy Trust Index. Philadelphia Stock Exchange Announces January Volume

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that for the month of January, equity trading volume increased 35.14% when 281,118,277 shares traded compared to the same month last year when 208 016,767 shares traded. Equity volume increased 22.79% compared to the previous month's volume when 228,940,265 shares traded.

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced yesterday that 47,308 futures contracts were traded on the NYMEX ACCESS® electronic trading system last night, a record for overnight electronic trading.
New Listing Rules, Requiring The Observance Of The Code Of Corporate Behaviour, Came Into Force On MICEX On 1 February

The new rules of listing and access to the distribution and circulation of securities came into force on the MICEX on 1 February. They require issuers to observe the Code of corporate behaviour and provide reports in compliance with the International Accounting Standards. Besides, the rules enable the circulation of investment trusts' units.
