Standard & Poor's – Index Change: TSE 300 Capped, S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap And TSE 200 Indices.

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces that effective after the close of business on Thursday, April 19, 2001, the following changes will take place in the TSE 300 Composite, TSE 300 Capped, S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap and TSE 200 Indices.

Singapore Exchange Derivatives Trading (SGX-DT) is pleased to announce robust growth for the first quarter of 2001. Total trading volume from January to March increased 11.1% to 7,768,982 contracts, over 6,994,621 contracts traded in the same period last year.

PHLX Establishes Quotation Size For Broker Dealer Orders

Pursuant to the SEC's recently adopted "Firm Quote" Rule for options, the Exchange has adopted new Rule 1082, Firm Quotations. The new PHLX rule sets forth a "quotation size" for orders for the account(s) of broker-dealers of one (1) contract.

OM Stockholmsbörsen Changes Name And Graphics Profile

On April 3, the OM Stockholm Exchange will change its name to Stockholmsbörsen. In conjunction with this name change Stockholmsbörsen will also be given a new graphics profile aimed at reinforcing the Stockholmsbörsen’s brand and position.

New Version Of The Copenhagen Stock Exchange's Saxess Trading System

On 6 June 2001, a new version of the SAXESS trading system, version 3.0, will be launched. The modifications of this version have been implemented in accordance with the requests of our customers and are a further improvement of the functionality in SAXESS. The modifications only result in minor changes in the information of the Exchange's C subscription.

Copenhagen Stock Exchange: Handsome Trading Volume Despite Bearish Market In March

In March 2001, equity trading amounted to DKK 66.6 billion, which was below average thoug handsome compared to a bearish global market. The value of average daily trading amounted to a little more than DKK 3 billion, a 14 per cent fall on February 2001. Compared to the record month of March 2000, the trading volume fell by 18 per cent.
