Nymex Chairman Sends Letter To Governor Davis Offering Assistance And Solutions To California's Electricity Crisis

Vincent Viola, chairman of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today sent a letter to California Governor Gray Davis, blaming the state's current electricity crisis on flawed "non-market" structure and urging the governor to review the "straightforward, cost-effective" solutions recommended by the Exchange since 1995 through testimony and public statements.
