SEC Commissioner Laura S. Unger Releases Report, Recommends Improvements To Regulation FD

Commissioner Laura S. Unger of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission today issued a report examining the impact of Regulation Fair Disclosure on the marketplace. Quarterly-Term Futures To Be Launched On EEX Futures Market December 17. New Products Supplement Product Portfolio - Cascading In One-Year Futures On December 27

EEX European Energy Exchange will launch three-month (quarterly-term) futures on electricity for trading on December 17. With the introduction of quarterly-term futures, as announced, EEX is expanding its product family to include futures products that are used intensively on the OTC market. EEX is thus offering a complete product family of one-month, three-month and 12-month futures that the participants can use in futures trading to hedge against electricity price fluctuations.
