Semi-Annual Changes To The NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. Index

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. ("NASDAQ") (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today the results of the semi-annual evaluation of the NASDAQ(r) Clean Edge(r) U.S. Index (Nasdaq:CLEN), which will become effective with the market open on Monday, September 18, 2006.
Oslo Børs To Establish A New Marketplace For Shares

Oslo Børs has applied to the Ministry of Finance for permission to establish an authorised marketplace for shares and primary capital certificates. The principal intention is to offer a regulated market place for companies that do not meet the requirements for a normal stock exchange listing. Oslo Børs plans to launch the new marketplace early in 2007.

Deutsche Börse has further expanded its XTF segment for international exchange-traded index funds (ETFs) on the electronic trading platform Xetra. With effect from Monday 11 September, a new commodity ETF issued by AXA Fund Management SA is tradable in XTF. The new index fund offers investors pure commodity exposure in an equity vehicle, rather than commodity-related equity exposure.

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Exchange) would like to clarify that for Main Board issuers the formal reporting requirement for a review by reporting accountants of a profit forecast is only applicable in circumstances where the profit forecast is included in a listing document or an announcement or a circular issued in connection with a notifiable or connected transaction.
