CME Group To Offer Electronic Trading Of Weekly FX Options

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse exchange and the largest regulated marketplace for foreign exchange (FX) trading, today announced that it plans to offer electronic trading for weekly FX options on futures with American-style expiration. OMX Baltic 10 Index Futures Introduced

On August 31, futures on the tradable index OMX Baltic 10 (OMXB10) were introduced marking the first exchange-traded derivatives on a Baltic underlying exposed to investors in one of the leading derivatives marketplaces in Europe. The derivatives market on the Nordic Exchange is the third largest derivatives market in Europe by volume.

Liffe Launches Futures On Indices Of Real Estate Companies

Liffe today announced that on 1 October 2007 it will launch on the Paris derivatives market two futures contracts on indices that track the performance of European real estate companies. The two new futures contracts are based on the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Europe Index (EPRA) and the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Euro Zone Index (EPEU) which are seen as benchmarks in Europe for investments in listed real estate companies.
