SGX And OMX Sign Agreement On New Clearing System

Singapore Exchange (SGX) and OMX today announced that they have signed an agreement to implement a new clearing system using OMX technology to enhance SGX’s derivatives and securities clearing capabilities. The new system will serve as the clearing platform for SGX derivatives, securities and OTC clearing businesses. It is targeted for launch in 2009.

Standard & Poor's Announces the S&P Canadian Bond Index Rebalancing Report for November 2007

Standard & Poor's has completed the monthly rebalancing of the S&P Canadian Bond Index. According to index methodology, the universe of Canadian bonds is exhaustively reviewed to reflect changes in par amount and term to existing index constituents. Qualifying new issues are added to the index and existing constituents that no longer meet the criteria for inclusion are removed.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The unitholders of PrimeWest Energy Trust (TSX:PWI.UN) have accepted the $CDN26.75 per unit cash offer from the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC. PrimeWest Energy Trust will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Energy and Capped Energy Trust, the S&P/TSX Income Trust and the S&P/TSX Completion indices effective after the close on Monday December 3, 2007.
