Amendment To September Quarterly Rebalancing And Annual IWF Review For S&P/HKEx LargeCap Index

Preceding the quarterly rebalancing announcement released on September 19, Standard & Poor’s is issuing the following revisions: The index shares of China Shenhua Energy Co Ltd (SEDOL B09N7M0) will change from 18,089,620,000 to 3,398,583,000 and IWF from 0.1879 to 1 reflecting the holding information of its H shares, or shares listed in Hong Kong. Changes will become effective after the close of trading on Thursday September 27, 2007.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) hereby announces the market closing schedule for the National Day of 2007 according to the "SSE Holiday Schedule for 2007" (Shang Zheng Jiao Zi [2006] No. 16). Arrangements of market closing: The National Day is from October 1, (Monday) to October 7, 2007 (Sunday). On September 19, 2007 on FORTS (Futures and Options on RTS) Derivatives Market a new record trading volume of futures on RTS Index was registered. By the trading day results, the trading volume made up 223 375 contracts or 23 billion rubles.
