  • Amendment To September Quarterly Rebalancing And Annual IWF Review For S&P/HKEx LargeCap Index

    Preceding the quarterly rebalancing announcement released on September 19, Standard & Poor’s is issuing the following revisions: The index shares of China Shenhua Energy Co Ltd (SEDOL B09N7M0) will change from 18,089,620,000 to 3,398,583,000 and IWF from 0.1879 to 1 reflecting the holding information of its H shares, or shares listed in Hong Kong. Changes will become effective after the close of trading on Thursday September 27, 2007.

    The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) hereby announces the market closing schedule for the National Day of 2007 according to the "SSE Holiday Schedule for 2007" (Shang Zheng Jiao Zi [2006] No. 16). Arrangements of market closing: The National Day is from October 1, (Monday) to October 7, 2007 (Sunday). The Exchange will close for 5 days (excluding two-day weekend) and open for trading on October 8 (Monday). Relevant clearing issues will be carried out according to the arrangements

    The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) announced on September 18 that the newly amended "SSE Listing Rules of Corporate Bonds" have been approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission and are hereby promulgated for implementation.

  • Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad Signs MOU With The Agricultural Futures Exchange Of Thailand To Establish Joint Opportunities In Commodity

    Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (Bursa Derivatives) and the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand (AFET) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore potential cooperation in the commodities and futures markets within the two countries. Under the MOU, the two Exchanges will discuss a variety of initiatives, including exploring the possibility of strategic collaboration to develop their respective futures and commodities markets. This MOU also includes mutual sharing of infor
