Frankfurt Stock Exchange Launches Fund Stock Exchange Game With Renowned Partner Emphasis On Knowledge Transfer - AXA Investment Managers Securities Account Shares Up For Grabs

On 1 October, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange will be launching a stock exchange game for private investors, the focus being on imparting knowledge on all aspects of stock exchange trading in actively and passively managed investment funds. The game will be organized in partnership with AXA Investment Managers.

FTSE Country Classification Changes – 2007 Review

FTSE Group, the global index provider, announced today the result of its annual review of the classification of countries into developed and emerging market categories. FTSE classifies countries into three categories; Developed, Advanced Emerging and Secondary Emerging, within its FTSE Global Equity Index Series (GEIS), which is used by institutional investors worldwide. A Watch List of countries under review for promotion or demotion within these categories is also published annually by FTS

New Interest Rate Futures With Longer Periods Of Execution Have Been Launched On The MICEX Derivatives Market

In the MICEX Derivatives (Standard Contracts) Market Section trading has been launched in new series of futures on MosPrime Rate interest rate with execution in June, September and December of 2008 and in March, June and September of 2009, as well as futures on MosIBOR interest rate with execution in September of 2008. The maximum period before execution of the farthest series of MosPrime Rate futures has been extended from 9 to 24 months, while the maximum period before execution of MosIBOR
