FESE Response To The PCAOB Policy Proposal On Inspections Of Foreign Registered Public Accounting Firms

In the context of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) request for public comment on proposed policy statement regarding the implementation of the rule on inspections of foreign registered public accounting firms, FESE has written a letter to the PCAOB to express its views. FESE members strongly welcome this new policy that would give the PCAOB Board the possibility of placing full reliance on the inspections programs of qualified non-U.S. auditor oversight entities.

Deutsche Bank continued the pan European expansion of its db x-trackers’ ETF range by listing 21 products on Euronext Paris. The new ETFs provide exposure to developed and emerging equity markets, short indices, dividend strategies, and overnight money market interest rates.

The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has recently appointed Zhang Yujun Vice Party Secretary and General Manager of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Song Liping Vice Party Secretary and General Manager of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE). Zhu Congjiu is dismissed from the positions of SSE Vice Party Secretary and General Manager, and Zhang Yujun from the positions of SZSE Vice Party Secretary and General Manager.
Tokyo Stock Exchange: Changes In Industrial Classifications For Listed Company
