  • Amendment To Constituent Changes In The S&P European Indices And S&P Global 1200

    Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus, S&P Euro and S&P Global 1200 indices, effective after the close of trading on Friday 21 December 2007: SSAB-Svenskt Stal A shares (not B shares as previously announced) (Sweden, SEDOL: B17H0S8 GICS: Materials, GICS Code: 15104050) will replace MLP AG (Germany, SEDOL: 5720273, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40203010) in the S&P Europe, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Global 1200 indices. MLP AG is being deleted

  • Settlement Volume Of December Futures On Derivatives Section of RTS–FORTS Made Up 16,8 Bln Rubles

    On December 2007 settlement of futures contracts took place in the derivatives section of RTS – FORTS. All participants fulfilled their obligations to RTS Clearing Center. The volume of delivery made up 16 874 612 016,19 rubles.

  • Shanghai Stock Exchange: CSI Aggregate Bond Index Launched Yesterday

    The CSI Aggregate Bond Index and its sub-indexes of bonds of different years are officially launched today. The base day of the CSI Aggregate Bond Index is December 31, 2002, with the base point of 100. It closed on December 13, 2007 at 111.91 points, up 11.91% from the base day. The net price index was 94.19, dropped by 5.81% from the base day. The interest and reinvestment index was 118.71, up 18.71% from the base day.   • Borzen And Eurex To Launch SouthPool Alliance - Alliance Will Create A Cross-Border Spot Power Exchange In South East Europe

    Borzen, the Slovenian power exchange, and Eurex, the international derivatives exchange, today announced that they will jointly create a spot power market for the broader South Eastern European region – SouthPool. The new company will be launched as of January 2008. Initially, Borzen will hold a stake of 51 percent in the joint venture, Eurex 49 percent. The joint venture aims to include a wide range of partners from the region and is open for further shareholders.
