Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The unitholders of Fairborne Energy Trust (TSX:FEL.UN) have voted to change the trust into a corporation, to be named Fairborne Energy Ltd. (TSX:FEL). Fairborne Energy Trust will be removed from the S&P/TSX Income Trust and Capped Energy Trust Indices. Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, December 20, 2007: ARISE Technologies Corporation (TSXVN:APV) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to trade on the TSX under the same ticker symbol. Response Biomedical Corp. (TSXVN:RBM) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to trade on the TSX under the same ticker symbol.
