HKEx: Changes of Designated Securities For Short Selling

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 14 May 2009 (Thursday), 13 additional securities will be eligible for short selling and 22 existing designated securities will be removed from the list. The total number of designated securities for short selling will be 358 after the revision.

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. ("NASDAQ OMX(r)") (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today reported net income of $94 million, or $0.44 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2009 compared with net income of $121 million, or $0.69 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2008, and with net income of $35 million, or $0.17 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2008.
