Bermuda Stock Exchange Will Be Closed For ‘Rememberance Day’ Public Holiday

The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) advises that the BSX will be closed on Thursday, 11 November, 2010, for the Rememberance Day public holiday in Bermuda. The Exchange will reopen on Friday, 12 November, 2010.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced today that it has fined Goldman, Sachs & Co. $650,000 for failing to disclose that two of its registered representatives, including Fabrice Tourre, had received formal notices from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that they were the subjects of investigations. NASDAQ OMX (NASDAQ:NDAQ) today announces that Jens Henriksson has been appointed President of NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB and head of NASDAQ OMX's Nordic Fixed Income & Funds business as of December 6. Jens will have the title of Senior Vice President at NASDAQ OMX and replaces Erik Thedéen, who recently left to become State Secretary with the Swedish Ministry of Finance.
