Deutsche Börse: Dutch Segment Starts November 12. "Xetra Dutch Stars" Tradable With Round Lot Of One/Eurex Already Successful In Trading Of Dutch Equity Options/Trading Fees Waived Until April

Deutsche Börse will initiate trading in Dutch equities on Xetra on November 12. The new segment will contain all seven Dutch stocks in the Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50 index, the so-called "Xetra Dutch Stars": ABN Amro Holding NV, AEGON NV, Koninklijke Ahold NV, ING Groep NV, Philips Electronics, Royal Dutch Petroleum and Unilever NV. After the US segment, the Dutch segment is the second market that Deutsche Börse and Eurex are setting up within the framework of the Global Markets Concept. E

The Securities and Exchange Commission today named Peter H. Bresnan Deputy Chief Litigation Counsel of the Commission's Division of Enforcement. As Deputy Chief Litigation Counsel, Mr. Bresnan will assist in supervising the Division's nationwide litigation program. Mr. Bresnan succeeds Stephen J. Crimmins, who left the Commission in July.

Introduction Reserve List for Euronext Indices

Following the announcement made on August 3, 2001, Euronext Indices will start using a reserve list for the selection of candidates in case of replacements in the Euronext 100 or the Next 150 from November 3 onwards. Replacements will take place in accordance with Rule 5.5, Rule 6.3.3b and Rule 6.3.4 of the Rules of the Euronext 100 Index and the Next 150 index.

CFTC Releases Rule Enforcement Review Of New York Cotton Exchange

The Division of Trading and Markets (Division) of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission) has sent the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) a report of the Division's Rule Enforcement Review of the self-regulatory programs of the New York Cotton Exchange and its subsidiaries and divisions, the New York Futures Exchange, the Financial Instrument Exchange, and the Citrus Associates of the New York Cotton Exchange (collectively, NYCE or Exchange). The review examined the Exchange's trade p
